When selecting tracks for bulldozer operation on crushed stone, you should pay attention to two points: the characteristics of the shoes and the type of track chain hinge.
We recommend ordering tracks with standard shoes with a width of 500…510 mm with volumetric hardening with a hardness rating of 39…49 HRC.
If work is carried out with fine crushed stone, then the most effective would be to use tracks with a liquid-lubricated hinge, which will last longer than tracks with an open hinge or a grease-lubricated hinge. Why is that? Thanks to the design features, the penetration of abrasive particles into the hinge is prevented, and the rate of chain wear is significantly reduced.
When operating equipment on coarse crushed stone, use tracks with a grease-lubricated hinge.
